Christmas Cookie Round Up
Christmas time is the season for baking! Growing up, I always spent a good day or two (or three) in the kitchen with my mom. We would bake our favorite goodies and take them to our friends and neighbors. This is a tradition that I’ve continued with my own children. We spend a day baking and then put our treats in cute little boxes and deliver them to our friends. Aren’t these boxes adorable?
I admit that some of my children enjoy it more than others but my hope is that someday they will look back with fondness with the memories we’ve made, and think of me whenever they see a certain cookie or treat. My mom is gone, but I can’t look at an almond ball cookie or eat a piece of english toffee without thinking of her.
Aside from baking goodies, Christmas time is filled with all kind of parties: parties at school, parties at church, parties with friends, parties at work. And every party usually requires bringing a dessert or some other dish to share. It can get to be a little overwhelming but luckily I have put together some great cookie recipes that are yummy and simple enough to take along with you to any holiday party!
We’ll start with my favorites. Last week I shared my Christmas Almond Ball Cookie recipe with you. Mmmm. It’s just not Christmas time without these cookies!
M&M cookies are always a big hit, wherever you go!
Here are some recipes from some other talented bakers! Just click on the name of the cookie and it’ll take you straight to the recipe!
